The Magellanic clouds are vast nebulae at the outer reaches of the galaxy. These nebulae provide the perfect conditions for the birth of star-systems, so it is likely that there is a planet on which THE ENTIRE GALAXY rises in the night sky. This is an artistic rendering of what such a view might look like.

I remember this...when I was venturing into Space Art; I think it was a say so of who had the better spiral...

I think it looks sad as well, it is a completely beautiful piece and I'm very moved by it.

Definite fav, I really would like to buy the print. But money is a bitch so oh well.....
